Confluence Encryption

Enterprise collaboration platforms such as Confluence can hold a large amount of regulated and highly confidential information. StratoKey layers Encryption, Monitoring, Analytics and Defensive (EMAD™) capabilities into Atlassian's Confluence cloud offering. These capabilities directly help in meeting compliance requirements for HIPAA, ITAR, CCPA, PIPEDA and other data privacy regulations. StratoKey supports organizations utilizing Atlassian cloud hosted Confluence without putting confidential or regulated data at risk.

 

StratoKey is a standalone platform that is hosted in your own environment (cloud or on-premise). StratoKey is not a Confluence plugin or hosted by Atlassian. StratoKey secures sensitive data in Confluence with end-to-end encryption (or optionally tokenization) before it is sent to the Atlassian Cloud.

Encryption & Tokenization for Data Privacy

StratoKey supports selectively encrypting and tokenizing Confluence content (including in defined zones) and attachments. Decryption with StratoKey is delivered with a privacy first approach. Users must be provisioned in StratoKey, authenticated and have appropriate access permissions to view encrypted content. This data-level encryption secures sensitive content against unauthorized access and has both security and compliance benefits for cloud hosted Confluence.
